How data is used in Dr. Arthur Saulo’s digital clinical platform.

Data controller

Dr. Arthur Saulo · Veterinary Doctor · CRMV-SC 14.497 is responsible for the platform and for decisions about data processing related to care. Questions and requests may be sent to arthur_saulo@outlook.com.

Data processed

The platform may process caregiver contact and account data, animal data, appointments, clinical and follow-up records, signed documents, submitted photos and videos, notification preferences and, during home visits, temporary data required for route calculation and arrival tracking.

Purposes

Data is used to organize scheduling and care, maintain the Patient Area, record guidance and progress, send requested reminders, support clinical continuity, generate reports and documents, protect accounts and comply with applicable professional and legal duties.

Data minimization and access

The platform aims to use only the data required for each purpose. Authenticated caregivers can access only patients linked to their account. Clinical and administrative areas use separate access roles.

Storage and service providers

The infrastructure may use cloud computing, storage, notification delivery, email and routing providers. These providers act as technology processors or service providers as applicable. Private keys and integration secrets are never exposed to the browser.

Retention

Care records and clinical documents may need to be retained for periods required by professional or legal rules or for the exercise of rights. Deletion requests are assessed in light of those duties. Media and other data without a retention requirement may follow specific retention and deletion policies.

Your rights

The Patient Area allows requests for access, correction, deletion where applicable, consent withdrawal and other data-subject requests. A structured copy of account-related data can also be downloaded.

Security and incidents

Authentication controls, protected sessions, role separation, audit logs and technical security measures are used. Relevant incidents are handled according to applicable law and requirements.

Notifications and location

Web Push is optional and requires device permission. Smart Route location is enabled only during the authorized trip and stops being shared when that stage ends.

Updates

This policy may be updated. When a new version requires renewed acceptance, the Patient Area will ask for confirmation before selected features continue.

Does my pet need a surgical recovery suit?

It depends on the procedure, incision location and patient behavior. When indicated, the garment should stay clean, dry and properly fitted without compressing the wound. If the animal can still lick or bite the area, protection needs to be reassessed.

Does a recovery suit replace an Elizabethan collar?

Not always. The goal is to prevent access to the incision. In some locations or patients, a suit does not prevent licking or chewing, and a collar may still be necessary. Follow the protection recommended for that procedure.

How should I monitor the surgical wound?

Observe it without unnecessary handling. Increasing redness, swelling, discharge, foul odor, wound opening, bleeding or progressively increasing pain are reasons to contact the team. Serial photos can help when requested.

Can the incision get wet or can my pet have a bath?

Do not wet the surgical area or bathe your pet until specific clearance is given. Moisture can affect dressings, increase contamination risk and make wound assessment harder. If it gets wet accidentally, contact the team.

What should I do if I miss a medication dose?

Do not double the next dose on your own. The correct action depends on the medication, interval and how late the dose is. Check the patient instructions or contact the team before compensating for a missed dose.

Can I change the dose, schedule or stop a medication?

Not without veterinary guidance. Dose, interval and duration are part of the prescription. Do not add human medicines, anti-inflammatory drugs or supplements without confirmation because interactions or contraindications may exist.
